The Week according to West Coast Photos
The past 7 days have been hectic to say the least. At present West Coast Photos is still very much part-time with my Mon-Fri 9-5 taking up a fair bit of quality time. It does however allow me to photograph some beautiful properties around #Argyll and this keep the eye in as far as product and corporate shots are concerned. Work work has been unseasonably busy over the past couple of months but I've still managed to get a couple of nice big canvases ordered for a couple of very generous gents who bought them during the charity auction at the recent '#STRC Awards dinner in Grangemouth. The 2 images below are soon to be gracing a living room or office wall of choice!! Not long until this season's #Rally action begins
The website continues to be a lot more work than I had bargained for........ but, it's getting there slowly and really is just down to patience on my behalf and taking the proper time to select the right images to showcase out there. Previous Brides and Grooms should watch out for their 15 seconds of fame at www.westcoastphotos.co.uk
I'm in the final stages of editing Heather & Daniel's big day at Lodge on the Loch and loving every minute of it (or hour, day, week lol). It's such a privilege to re-live their #wedding day time and time again whilst getting the final cut to the couple. I continue to work with www.pixieset.com for gallery sharing and, again, I'm starting to get to grips with all the various tools and tips that are available on there.
My own wee Talla was 1 last weekend and the Monday Club (the one day a week that all the "girls" get together and wreck my house!) had a cake smash party this weekend to keep the celebrations going. I really enjoy the informal nature of these kind of #babyshoots with everyone relaxed and not a great deal of (successful) posing done, it is quite often only when going through the images later on you realise what you have captured. Priceless. The shot below may well have been cast aside as a "look away" or a "just missed the smile to the lens" shot but I love it and it was one of the first that I sent to Jules
And Heidi, who has the most fabulous 60's look in these, adorable
I am hoping to get out to the next round of #wedding fairs in the Argyll area so watch out for me and pop across for a chat or to see if I can help you out with any of your photographic wants and needs. Alternatively drop me a line on firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll come back to you ASAP
Thanks for reading and watch out for the next instalment
